Simply receive what is given with gratitude, without holding onto anything.
Because we are all interconnected, we are also intrinsically interdependent. In order to to thrive, we must all take care of one another. To care for ourselves, our families, our local and community and our ecosystem is an expression of our humanity.
L.A. Wellness contributes a portion of the proceeds from every visit toward a charitable cause. So, in taking care of yourself by coming to L.A. Wellness, you also care for your brothers and sisters around the world. We contribute to everything from local causes, such as giving over $1000 to help an El Segundo girl obtain a service dog to help her with daily activities, to buying mosquito nets for families in Africa to prevent the contraction of malaria. If you have a charitable organization that you believe would benefit from our support, please let us know, and we will do everything we can to help. Below are a few of the many organizations to which L.A. Wellness contributes.
- Mercy’s Village International is an organization dedicated to eliminating poverty through the education of children and the empowerment of girls and young women.
- End Malaria Now‘s mission is to raise consciousness and funding to fight and eradicate malaria; the largest known killer of children in all of Africa.
- Open Gate Sangha is a nonprofit organization founded in 1996 to support the teachings of Adyashanti. Adyashanti is an American-born spiritual teacher devoted to serving the awakening of all beings. His teachings are an open invitation to stop, inquire, and recognize what is true and liberating at the core of all existence.
- Help a Life Foundation The Foundation’s first program, Project Blue, was created to focus our efforts on orphans in Ethiopia. The purpose of Project Blue is to give orphans girls not only a supplemental tutorial education so that they can teach other children of the towns/villages but also give them social skills to integrate back into Ethiopian society as productive citizens.
