Although this is getting to be common knowledge, I will share with those who didn’t get the memo that milk is not really the cat’s meow (see what I did there?)  Dairy not only creates more mucus and digestive problems among those who are lactose intolerant, but also creates more serious problems in all who consume it in large quantities.

Lactose intolerant or not, consumption of dairy has been implicated in bone loss. Yes, you read that correctly. There is also a correlation between consuming large quantities of dairy and increased risk of cancer (small quantities have not shown any increased risk.) “But, what about yogurt”, you ask? Not so much. Here’s a great article about yogurt, and here isanother article about dairy in general. Concerns about getting calcium? Eat more leafy greens.: Kale is a good one, and take your Dr. Foster’s Essential Nutrients everyday.
